Don't Cry Child of Africa
In search of her mother who has fled from the economic hardships at home caused by her father's drinking, a young girl
learns of the plight of the street children who suffer in contemporary Nairobi. The young girl sees the children, who have been reduced to begging, prostitution, and sniffing glue to escape their hardships, and decides she will not succumb to
the street life. She now knows the only way to survive is to continue her education. This is the story about her triumph.
